Faded red road covering in this cross roads accident black spot
Reported in the Faded road markings category anonymously at 18:04, Wed 25 March 2020
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 2073184.
The red road covering is worn away. This is the second car accident where a car has been smashed up on the pavement. After the first accident the speed limit was changed from 60 to 40Mph from Burnett, but cars are still speeding through this cross roads and trying to overtake as in this second accident. Please put double white lines as you have through Burnett junctions to prevent this. Also install large 40Mph speed signs with the word Keynsham underneath, as you have already done in Burnett. The very small 40Mph signs are to small and not warning drivers. This junction has 1 Cross roads 2 Horse crossing 3 Bus stop 4 Children crossing to school 5 No dropped Kerbs 6 First entry point into Keynsham on a fast road. This accident blackspot junction is desperate for any road improvement you can make.
