Destruction and change of use of grass verge
Reported in the Pavement damage category anonymously at 13:00, Wed 1 April 2020
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 5 minutes later. Council ref: 2077889.
For nearly two years this car has parked on the grass verge and consequently destroying it. There is room for him to park in the road - or he has the option for a driveway as his neighbour has done. Why no action has been taken against him for the mindless vandalism caused to the grass & kerb is unbelievable. Now, obviously emboldened by the lack of any action by the Council or Highways Dept. the grass has now been covered in concrete chippings, creating a parking space on the verge. At very least this car owner/resident should restore the verge to its former glory.

Since this vehicle has parked in this place, several other cars/vehicles have started copying it, parking on the grass areas of Coronation Avenue nearby, e.g at the junction with Warwick road.

Car still parking on grass verge (Now self gravelled) near the bottom of Coronation Avenue. Cars on Warwick Rd/Coronation Ave on grass verges and and cars parked all around junction of Tenby Road and Warwick Road o/S Flats. Vision seriously impaired- I thought there was a law about parking near junctions?

Car still parking on ‘destroyed’ grass verge - another year on with no action being taken against perpetrator! He/she should have been served with some sort of notice/fine? Grass verge now being destroyed on corner of Coronation ave & Warwick road by recent occupants of house once lived in by Helliar family. Also as pictures before of junction of Tenby & Warwick Road - cars parked all around the junction. Just what is the point of any by-laws or road traffic laws when nothing is done to enforce them?
