Large amounts of mud and debris on Station Road by Clutton Hill
Reported in the Dangerous road surface (including ice, mud, spillage or debris) category anonymously at 10:00, Sun 3 May 2020
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2104127.
There has been building works in the fields to the north of The Sidings and just off Clutton Hill. Station road and Clutton hill have been covered in mud , large stones and debris recently created from large vehicles removing waste from the building site. Living close by we Use station road and Clutton hill as our only routes out of the village to work and to the super market for essentials. Equally we can only get exercise by walking along the virtual pavements which are also covered in mud and stones. We were out walking yesterday and stones left from the building site were being ‘flicked up’ into walkers, cyclists and other road users. No attempts have been made to clean the road which is now getting dangerous. I ride a motorbike to work and I am almost at the point where it is too dangerous to ride on this part of the road. This issue needs dealing with before someone is injured or worse. Many thanks Concerned resident.
