Tree overhanging and overgrown overhanging the highway, also obstruction a lot of daylight to rear of Lyme Gardens (right of light)
Reported in the Trees and woodland category anonymously at 21:59, Tue 5 May 2020
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2107030.
These trees overhang Aspley Road and regularly brush against vans & lorries. They are very close to the ambulances who use this road in an emergency.
They also overhang the boundary wall to the rear of Lyme Gardens and block out day light to most of the gardens.
When there are strong winds, due to the type of foliage, the tree acts like a parachute and looks very dangerous to the surrounding properties. An accident waiting to happen and let’s hope nobody gets hurt.
