Depressions in road causing significant noise and vibration

Reported in the Potholes & road surface category anonymously at 16:03, Thursday 21 May 2020

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2124223.

Opposite the on-road parking and traffic calming on New Road, the road surface has various sunken sections and ripples which mean that when large vehicles, or those towing trailers, drive along the road (made worse by the high speed they are travelling) there is significant vibration felt which can be felt in a large number of properties along New Road. This also causes a huge amount of unnecessary and disruptive noise. The vibrations feel like a small earthquake and I am concerned by the potential structural damage they may be causing. I have raised this numerous times over the last six months with no response. The issue is worsening and requires urgent attention.
