Overgrown hedge outside no.28 (Vernslade or High St ?)

Reported in the Vegetation overhanging a road or pavement from private land or property category anonymously at 21:07, Saturday 23 May 2020

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2126883.

This hedge has been steadily overgrowing the pavement for months. I'm under 5ft and can't walk underneath it, it is forcing people to walk in the road. I understand the house is empty and has been for some time.

  • Photo taken on 23 May. Adjacent hedges at 27 Vernslade and 1 Lansdown Lane are fine, but this one is awful - have to walk in the road to get past.

  • This is not fixed yet and getting worse. if the process is to contact home owner, this won’t work as she isn’t there and won’t be for some time
