The junction in question is a 20 mph zone entering and leaving the village. On a day to day basis people drive through the junction at 40 mph or more. There is grit on the road and the road markings are faint. A cyclist got knocked off by debris on the floor and stopping for a car at the junction. This stretch of road needs a speed bump or a shicain made to slow motorists down and hopefully prevent any further accidents which are waiting to happen if nothing is done about this.

Coming down Tunbridge road and round the bend as Denny lane meets the junction
One day there will be a serious accident Or worse fatality on this junction If traffic calming measures aren’t put in place.
It is a main cycle route and pedestrians and children are out on the road yet motorists drive at 40 - 50 mph round the bend.
I really hope this is raised by the council and police as the parish council also keep making this aware to them
A speed bump as you come down the hill before the bend is what is needed to slow people down entering the village
I look forward to hearing from you
Thank you for your report, it will be reviewed by the appropriate team.
