Tree down blocking passage, gate and signage have been removed and barbed wire all over a marked footpath
Reported in the Overgrown vegetation in Council parks and green spaces category anonymously at 09:11, Thu 28 May 2020
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2132149.
This path connecting Avon Valley and the railway path has been in constant since the more direct path was ploughed up around 10 years ago. The gate has been removed, a tree placed to block the access and a large amount of barbed wire fencing was installed last week. BANES map on this site shows it as a footpath.

Footpath has been closed off/access denied. Popular way to access keynsham/shops/residential areas from the cycle path as there aren’t many river crossings in this area. Clearly marked as footpath, not a permissive path, on the maps.
