The sprinklers need to be switched on urgently at the Approach Course.
Reported in the Overgrown vegetation in Council parks and green spaces category anonymously at 14:41, Sun 31 May 2020
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2136180.
I reported the damage being done to the greens at the Approach Course on 24th April (issue ref. PG-107008). Very disappointingly, nothing has been done and I've received no reply. Routine grass cutting continues to take place on the course which is good to see, but it will all be for nothing unless the serious, long-term damage being done to the greens is not addressed in the next few days. The hot and dry weather is set to continue and it's so disheartening to see this cherished local facility being neglected in this way. It's literally the flick of a switch and digging out the sprinkler heads - a couple of hours work at most. PLEASE can I at least have an explanation or some sort of reply this time?
