Obscured safety convex mirror
Reported in the Vegetation blocking road or sign visibility - In the countryside category anonymously at 14:57, Tue 9 June 2020
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 8 minutes later. Council ref: 2148631.
A convex mirror is situated opposite Tyning Timsbury, where Tyning exits on to Hayeswood Road ( national speed limit). The residents are predominantly elderly, especially my 85 year old mother. As the exit mirror has become overgrown it is now extremely difficult to see oncoming traffic which comes at speed generally. This is now extremely unsafe. The road needs to have cautioning to show " men at work" to cut the vegetation back as oncoming traffic would not have sufficient visibility and the mirror is set very high in the hedge, beyond normal height accessibility. It's a minor but significant job, urgently required.
