St. John Road
Reported in the Road sign damage category by Bath and North East Somerset Council at 14:13, Mon 15 June 2020
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2156674.
It is quite clear that the Council will not act to sort out the issue over the poor and ambiguous road signs on St Johns road. It beggars believe that after all the promises made by you and others over the past year, we have come to nothing. It is particularly galling because it was not difficult or indeed costly to rectify.
What can be done is to clear the foliage around the give way sign by the grass area next door to the baptist chapel. It is completely obscured by foliage and cannot be seen by on coming traffic coming into Bath; in fact it cannot be seen by anybody! I presume it is the duty of the Highways organisation to ensure that road signs can be seen or does it fall to the Council?
If that is too difficult for you, then let us as locals clear it and save you a few pennies or will we have to wait another year before a decision is made?
