Shock loading causing unacceptable house vibrations
Reported in the Potholes & road surface category anonymously at 14:49, Tue 23 June 2020
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2169253.
Heavy vehicles and double decker buses are generating significant vibrations in my house as they hit and leave the speed table outside boots. There are several road surface repairs on the road beyond the speed table outside Batheaston house (290 High Street) that result in significant vibrations as the high axle load vehicles travel over them. The vibrations are strong enough to shake items off shelves. Can the speed table be modified or removed and the road surface repaired to remove the cause of the shock-loading?
