Tree branches overhanging road ,large branch fell into road last week
Reported in the Trees and woodland category anonymously at 20:40, Sun 12 July 2020
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 14 hours, 25 minutes later. Council ref: 2197071.
I reported this problem last week on fix my street ,then received a report stating it’s fixed. Several tree branches are still overhanging the road and still appear to be in danger of falling especially in high winds. No action seems to have been taken ,also I am aware that other people have reported this as a concern. Please advise me if the trees have been assessed as being no danger to pedestrians walking beneath them or cars using that stretch of road

The trees were inspected and found to be in a stable condition and not more vulnerable to failure than expected and so no action was taken. This was previously updated on the previous report instead of this report by mistake. The trees along this road are due to be inspected as part of routine inspections and if any changes in this occur then the necessary works will be added to the programme.
