Vegetation overgrown and blocking a gate at the top of steps.

Reported in the Overgrown vegetation in Council parks and green spaces category anonymously at 08:38, Tuesday 21 July 2020

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2209592.

The nettles and brambles are overgrown and are blocking the gate at the top of the steps. This gate cannot be accessed and is almost hidden.

The electricity company keeps the section in front of their electrical box and gates clear however the steps we believe are owned by the council and are rarely cleared. The lack of clearance makes it very dangerous to enter onto the road as the bottom step is covered with around six inches of roots and mud from the passing vehicles and build up during the seasons vegetation.

Please clear as soon as possible so that this gate may be reinstated as an access point as we believe one of the trees is diseased and needs to be reported to the council for work to commence on a TPO.
