Palace Yard Mews one way signage
Reported in the Road sign damage category anonymously at 17:51, Wed 12 August 2020
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2242478.
Palace Yard Mews, at the Monmouth Place end, is one way and signed as in the photo - however, there's no 'No entry' sign at its mouth. Road works are causing queues to build up in Monmouth Place. Drivers, frustrated at the queues, are turning into Palace Yard Mews on a regular basis and many are flooring it - including round that blind corner - where there's no pavement and people on foot will be in the carriageway. This afternoon, this was happening at least at a rate of one every two minutes. A suggestion: to safeguard people on foot, close that entrance to the road on safety grounds for the duration of the road works.
