Hole in pavement outside 24/25 The Labbott Keynsham (like a small sinkhole)

Reported in the Pavement damage category anonymously at 20:41, Wed 12 August 2020

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2242705.

This hole has been here for over 2 weeks & has been reported by several people. Apparently it is Curo’s responsibility (I don’t know why) but they are failing to respond to the numerous reports made to them. I nearly caught my foot in it today & it is only a matter of time before someone gets seriously injured. It is outside flats where elderly & vulnerable people live and if one of them tripped on it, there could be very serious consequences. If Curo don’t fix it immediately, I think B&NES have a duty to & send them the bill! It needs fixing - URGENTLY!

  • My children and I have all fallen several times on the loose road surfaces along The Labbott, both of my children have taken chunks out of their hands and knees in doing so. The loose gravel is like walking on tiby marbles sometimes. it appears that nobody wants to take responsbility.
