Flooding endangering pedestrians.
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 22 hours, 11 minutes later. Council ref: 2253431.
Flooding has recurred on the main road by 19 Caroline Buildings. This results in pedestrians being soaked by passing vehicles and means that social distancing also becomes impossible. This has been a problem for several years. I'd suggest the blockage is not merely surface.

This is now a serious issue. I have twice witnessed near collisions between vehicles avoiding the flooding meeting those overtaking buses on the opposite side of the road. Children returning to Widcombe JS will be drenched by the splash from heavy lorries and cars ploughing through the standing water. This requires an urgent resolution.

Please help me to understand how such drastic action to cut down and devastate an area of long standing greenery, that I enjoyed looking out into and into. There has been no consultation and I am concerned that ivy and brambles will plague this area in the short and medium term. It will take approximately 4 years for the laurels to regrow.
