The people in the cafe are breaking rules set by government ....the park is too small for the kind of advertising they are doing the park isn’t big enough for social distancing rules . The people who ran cafe don’t seem to care as long as they sell coffee etc putting people at risk ...at weekends the roads are back to back Blocked with cars people (Adults)riding push on pavement No room for walking I find myself walking on the road to avoid them ...these people are breaking all rules set by government regarding COVID-19 please go along any weekend see for yourself.

I would like to report the people who are running the cafe not only are they advising on all gates on London Road on way to motorway but banners are everywhere the park is very small at weekends it gets over packed no social distancing no masks not mindful to others it’s like the virus doesn’t exist in the cafe . This isn’t the only issue the visits come from mostly outside Bath and have no regard for locals I can never park my car outside my property the whole of Gloucester Road is taken up by Alice Park visitors weekends are a nightmare. My daughter almost got ran over by a push bike and it was a full grown man on the pavement“ I mentioned it was illegal to ride on pavement “ he replied “ I’m going to the park” like that gives him the right to ran over children. Please please look into this and resolve this problem

The Trustees of the park are in constant dialogue with the cafe lease owner and to date are satisfied that there is a strong focus on compliance to covid management. Banners on the railings is something the Trustees are working on to minimise. Car parking is a highways issue and the Trustees constantly promote walking/cycling.
