Trees overgrown and dead overlooking my property.

Reported in the Trees and woodland category by Nicholas John Moon at 14:43, Wed 19 August 2020

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2253709.

If you look at the map you have of my property (ref 10001127080) there are two triangles of land at the end of the road that runs past my property.that are council responsibility. The lower triangle has trees growing on it that have never been looked after by Banes and as a result they have now become overgrown, they are blocking the light into my property and one has died and threatens to fall on to the building shown in the pictures. I have been unable to arrange for them to be removed as it is not my land but they now are a major issue. The main issue is that the power and phone cables run close by these trees and several occasions I have had t removed branches threatening to take these cable down. I would like the council to arrange for these trees to be either removed or severely pruned in order to remove the prospect of them coming down in storms and damaging my property and the power and phone cables. If you refuse would you be able to give me permission to remove myself? Thank you.
