Dangerous new bike lane

Reported in the Objects in the road category anonymously at 15:38, Sun 23 August 2020

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2259351.

There are some sort of kerb stones Indicating a bike lane which have appeared in the road which are not signposted or obvious. Have witnessed several vehicles driving over them which can’t be very good for the car tyres! These seem unnecessary and dangerous

  • This new poor excuse for a bike lane has not only narrowed the lane which means buses have to pull over on to the opposite side. The new design means people constantly drive over it which means not only does this cause excessive noise which keeps us awake at night but also haze caused more than one care to nearly swerve into the pavement itself?! Why it has also only been put at this junction which makes turning down into the new complex of riverview VERY difficult is bizarre.

Please remove this useless design. There is a cycle path on the river which is a lot safer, total waste of money and time and just a safety issue.

Also I would love a decent nights sleep please.
