Hello - I reported this during lockdown. I was told you had many trees to look after. The parish council have now raised this issue. And our local tree surgeon Scott Watson has been in contact with me to issue a serious warning.
Please can I ask that the tree is looked at with the utmost urgency.
It is a beautiful tree and we want to save the tree. But moreover we need to make sure children, horse riders, cars or my family do not come to harm.
Repeat this is now urgent.

The Oak tree by the junction of High Street and Bath Hill was inspected on August 26th by a qualified and experienced arborist from ground level and there were no external signs that the tree was insecure or an imminent danger to the public. Routine works have been included in the tree works programme. If Scott Wilson has any further information and concerns on trees that he believes are a danger to the public in Wellow it would be very helpful if he could contact the council directly.
