Hazard next to school
Reported in the Bus stop or shelter issue category by Freda Monica Trinder at 10:58, Sat 29 August 2020
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2269294.
Church Farm is an abandoned and derelict building. The recent winds have caused the 'protective' plastic sheeting which was already in poor condition to be further ripped and is now ineffective. This constitutes a hazard to pedestrians as debris can easily fall on to the pavement in the the wind. It is especially pertinent as children are returning to school next week and the building is next to the school. It is a hazard to children.

The building and 'protective' covering rremains in a dangerous state. With the higher winds over the past few days it's getting worse and is more of a hazard to children and all pedestrians. It needs to be seen to at your earliest convenience please..

Still open, via questionnaire -
No action has been taken by anyone and the 'protective' covering is deteriorating even more now the weather is getting worse. It is an even worse hazard to children and parents/carers now than it was last August.

A surveyor from our Building Control team went to site, although the netting/plastic sheeting is ripped the scaffolding is secure and therefore not considered dangerous.
State changed to: No further action
