Fence erected on B&NES land, but not by B&NES.
Reported via Android in the Trees and woodland category anonymously at 18:12, Sunday 6 September 2020
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2281222.
This is not in a park play area - it's on the Two Tunnels route, in Lyncombe Vale, between the tunnels. The section of old railway land there is in council ownership. The location is close to the small viaduct before Combe Down Tunnel.
Land adjacent to the route has been newly fenced with two strands of barbed wire on posts, which then runs onto local authority land and is terminated by being wrapped around the last of the route's "Rock catch' fencing posts at the edge of the route's tarmac where it is a safety hazard.
We've passed this report to another team in the council. They will carry out any further work needed. Sometimes it can take a little longer as a result.
We'll update this report once we've decide what action to take.
