The flashing speed sign opposite the school is not working AGAIN. w back this is dangerous as speeding traffic is a real issue at that point.

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2291350.

The flashing speed sign oppposite the school is not working at all. A serious issuie as with the school now back the speeding traffic needs the sign to be working. It's hazardous to all but especially children.

  • I received an email saying that an inspection of all VAS being undertaken. This is in no way satisfactory when the equipment is clearly not fit for purpose. It needs to be replaced with a functioning and reliable warning system as other surrounding villages appear to have. Poor in the extreme.

  • Aw soon as this was fixed it then stopped working within 2 days. Nothing has been done about it despite a very efficient automated warning light at the other end of the village having been installed. Why a similar sign was not put at the site of this hopeless VAS as well is questionable in the exreme.
