Large heavy vehicles causing significant house vibrations.

Reported in the Potholes & road surface category anonymously at 17:32, Wednesday 23 September 2020

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2308922.

Heavy vehicles and double decker buses are generating significant vibrations in my house ( Avonvale Cottages and surrounding high street areas ) there are significant vibrations as they travel up the Batheaston high street towards Bath town centre. The vibrations are strong enough to shake the entire building which were built in 1785. Surely something must be done or put in place to stop or limit vehicles of this size and weight from using this road? It certainly doesn't feel safe and over time this will cause a lot bigger problems. This needs to be dealt with as a matter of urgency.
