The Footpath South of Cameley Surgery crosses the road on what has become a blind bend. I have crossed this road myself and had a lorry come round the corner which forced me to run to avoid being hit. My Daughter has 3 children aged 8,3 and 6months. She is petrified crossing at this location, but there is no alternative.
Reported in the Vegetation blocking road or sign visibility - In the countryside category anonymously at 09:02, Friday 25 September 2020
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 1 month, 2 weeks, 4 days, 3 hours, 20 minutes later. Council ref: 2310963.
When walking South the path comes to an end (dropped Curb), and recommences on the East Side of the Road. At this point, visibility down the Northbound carriageway is significantly restricted by vegetation such that there is no chance of identifying a safe gap in traffic to cross the road. It is only a matter of time before either someone is hit by a vehicle, or a vehicle braking to avoid this, is hit from behind.
