Vegetation encroaching onto the pavement that runs alongside the main road (A39) between the junction with Hayeswood Road and the edge of High Littleton village (New Road).
Reported in the Vegetation overhanging a road or pavement from private land or property category anonymously at 13:34, Saturday 26 September 2020
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2312796.
Council ref: 2142555/2226692. I have been advised by the Council twice now that "The vegetation here does not belong to the Council, but we have asked the responsible party to take action. We are closing this report, but will check that the work has been done within the appropriate timescale and take further action if needed." The hedge/vegetation has still not been cleared from the pavement, can you please advise the date you have requested the landowner to take action by. This is now a safety issue as in several places the vegetation/hedge is nearly across the whole width of the pavement. The pavement is next to a busy main road. This issue was initially reported on 4 June.
Thank you for your report, it will be reviewed by the appropriate team.
