Tree overhanging gardens at top of cul de sac of Mendip Gardens

Reported in the Trees and woodland category anonymously at 07:27, Fri 2 October 2020

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2321230.

Tree overhanging gardens at top of cul de sac of Mendip Gardens, appears to be much taller than other trees in the cul de sac & is closer to two houses in particular (no.s 50 & 52). There is a risk of falling branches on residents, and there is a cable from a pole to no. 50 (possibly telephone) at risk of being ripped from the house by same tree. You can hear the sound the cable makes as its being pulled around by the branches attached to it. Risk of the cable hitting residents if it were to break loose. Have become aware of this during recent windy weather as the sound of the cable wakes me, being directly outside my bedroom window.
