Tree overhanging gardens at top of cul de sac of Mendip Gardens, appears to be much taller than other trees in the cul de sac & is closer to two houses in particular (no.s 50 & 52). There is a risk of falling branches on residents, and there is a cable from a pole to no. 50 (possibly telephone) at risk of being ripped from the house by same tree. You can hear the sound the cable makes as its being pulled around by the branches attached to it. Risk of the cable hitting residents if it were to break loose. Have become aware of this during recent windy weather as the sound of the cable wakes me, being directly outside my bedroom window.

The trees at Mendip Gardens are programmed to be inspected later this year and any essential works will be included in the programme of works. These concerns have been noted on the tree's record.
