Railings along Marlborough Buildings need attention

Reported via desktop in the Railings, bollard, & post damage category anonymously at 09:56, Mon 12 October 2020

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2336779.

Over the past couple of years there have been attempts to prize open the railings. The railings now have 3 or 4 sections used as a cut through because various posts are stretched/missing and this encourages people to squeeze through instead of use the Royal Ave entry. Please repair

  • We'll take a look at the railing and if there's a safety risk we'll take action as soon as possible. Otherwise - if this is just a cosmetic problem - there will be a delay before we can get this done - as tight budgets mean that we need to focus what we do have on safety risks for the time being..
