Path to the left hand side of Norton Hill School very overgrown
Reported via desktop in the Overgrown vegetation in Council parks and green spaces category anonymously at 15:31, Wednesday 14 October 2020
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2340948.
The path off of Charlton Road and to the left hand of Norton Hill School is very overgrown with vegetation. Please could some visit and cut back the brambles and overgrown vegetation. This is quite difficult to walk through at present and in particular fro young children
Apologies for the delay in responding to this. Although this path is a public right of way it isn't on land owned by the Council and so the Council's Parks Team isn't responsible for cutting back any overgrown vegetation. It looks as though any vegetation will be growing from neighbouring private properties, and we will ask our public rights of way team to investigate. If vegetation is coming from neighbouring properties and causing a nuisance, the Council’s public rights of way team may be able to write to residents and ask them to try back vegetation. Alternatively the school- as the landowner may be able to help. I will pass this on to the Council’s Public Rights of Way team and ask them to investigate.
