Damaged and dangerous drain grating near houses
Reported via desktop in the Manhole & drain cover damage category anonymously at 01:20, Sat 17 October 2020
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2344611.
Drain grate now a hazard after recent attempt by BANES contractor to unblock drain. Drain appears not to be unblocked, gully to drain has not been repaired (ie surface flood water does not flow to drain) and drain cover is now a hazard. (Photo is of drain before recent damage.) Please repair the gulley to the drain, clear the drain to ensure water drains away from houses into drain "network" and replace dangerous grate.
