Drain full of sediment/mud

Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain: Blockage inside drain category anonymously at 13:49, Saturday 17 October 2020

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2345056.

Drain blocked with mud preventing surface water draining into the stream. As a result there is always flooding across the road when it rains and is just after a bend so potentially quite hazardous

  • Drains are blocked again, have also uncovered some additional drains which were hidden due to overgrowth. The drains that are blocked are the 3rd and 4th drains up the hill (left hand side) from the house. Also the 3rd and 5th drains on the right hand side of the road (going up the hill). There are also a number of drains where the road has been retarmacked preventing water to be able to go into certain drains which are not doing the job they are meant to do.
