The Sydney Gardens Project team apologises for any inconvenience caused. The temporary closure of the entrance was to allow the pouring of concrete for foundation work as part of the Sydney Gardens construction works. Signage has been displayed in and around the area warning of temporary closures, but we recognise that it does cause disruption to those who want to use or pass through the park. We do try to keep these all to an absolute minimum, however when we have deliveries we need to consider the safety of the public. All works were completed as quickly as possible and barriers opened by 12.30. Our construction manager was on site for the duration and he was available to explain the situation to any member of the public who enquired as to what was happening.
