Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 2 days, 13 hours, 39 minutes later. Council ref: 2354926.
This tree is at a dangerous angle and is gradually dropping down, and is currently at around 70 degrees. The residents of Monkton Combe who use Summer Lane regularly to access Combe Down are very concerned that it will fall onto Summer Lane in high winds or a storm. We feel that the tree is an extreme hazard, which could cause loss of life if it fell during high wind.

We've looked into this report before. The tree has been inspected recently following other reports. It is growing on private land and has a natural lean, there were no external indicators that it was unstable and likely to fail. It's lean has been present for several years.
