Since the Covid bollards have been put in place outside the shops in larkhall, more people are parking on the double yellow lines further up at saviours road. This causes an issue outside our property which is [REDACTED], as cars park up on the pavement because the road is narrow, making it completely impassable. And sometimes they even park over the entrance to our drive. Meaning we cannot get into our homes.
I have two small children and often have a pram, as do my neighbour and we are often expected to walk into the road towards oncoming traffic to get around inconsiderate vehicles parked there. I would like to request that the double yellow road markings be repainted and a sign put up please, as there is ample parking for local shoppers but they don’t even attempt to use the car parks. This has been exacerbated as the bollards end outside the coop and our house is next door. It is dangerous and makes it an even more difficult street to use for people with prams or wheelchairs. I look forward to hearing from you.
Many thanks Regards
