Trees still overhanging along Firgrove Lane and up church road. The owner started to get it cleared by someone in the evening. However this has now stopped.

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2362235.
For the last eight years that we have lived here the trees on the left of the road along Firgrove Lane and up Church Road have been left to grow. They overhang the road and branches are constantly being knocked down by recycling lorries and vans etc. This is becoming dangerous for cars, cyclists, motorcyclists and pedestrians. I recently narrowly avoided an overhanging branch going into my windscreen. We frequently have to cut back overhanging branches ourselves to avoid accidents. The owner appeared to be doing something about it and employed someone who came in the evenings to cut the trees back. Unfortunately they made a dreadful job of it and suddenly the work stopped several weeks ago and nothing has happened since. I am concerned that if it is not done before spring when the birds begin to nest we will have yet another year of dangerous fallen branches. Could the council do the work if the owner doesn’t.?
