Hedge taking up half the pavement
Reported via mobile in the Vegetation overhanging a road or pavement from private land or property category anonymously at 15:53, Thu 12 November 2020
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2384463.
The hedge outside a house on Wansdyke Road (opposite The Green, towards the east end of the street) takes up half the pavement. It has done for several months and is taking up more and more of the pavement as time goes on. This is a well-used school route and it is difficult to pass with a buggy, especially when also holding a child's hand. Also, when it rains, the puddles form on the clear side of the pavement making it impossible to pass without getting wet. There is housing for elderly and disabled people near here and passing in a wheelchair must be difficult. Could you please contact the resident to ask them to cut it, or the housing association if it belongs to one?
