Faded 20mph road signs in several locations on the entire length of the road, together with poor signage (current signs are few and too small). Some signs have worn so much that the original 30mph limit is showing. Drivers are not adhering to the speed limit and this does not help the situation. This needs to be resolved as there have been several accidents on the road in recent days/weeks and this will continue to increase. This issue has been a concern for years and is getting worse. I am representing the newly formed Bloomfield Residents Association (current membership is close to 60 households).
Thank you for this report. We will review the details and carry out an inspection of the site if required.

Hello, thank you for your report, this was passed onto the Highway Inspector who will inspect and organise for any faded signage to be fixed. In regards to the request for more speed awareness signage, Highways have now passed this report onto our Traffic Management Team to review the current signage on Bloomfield Road and investigate installation of any further/new signs.
