Blocked surface water drain on Vellore Lane
Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain: Blockage inside drain category anonymously at 09:45, Tue 24 November 2020
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2402649.
The drain was completely filled up with mud - similar to the photo you've provided on the right hand side above (the one with the green tick mark). The photo I supplied, looking up at the top of Vellore Lane, shows the exact location of the blocked drain. I tried to clean up the mud but the problem is quite extensive and needs some specialist attention. Given it's at on a slope and at the top of Vellore Lane, any blockage here means quite a lot of rainwater draining down the Lane when the rain starts again.
