Deep rut formed in road surface
Reported via desktop in the Potholes & road surface category anonymously at 14:49, Mon 14 December 2020
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2431484.
The road surface in this area is completely shot. Mainly due to drainage issues stemming from the nearby field causing a large amount of erosion that has formed a rut approximately 6-8 inched deep. This is a H&S risk and is unsafe for traffic and pedestrians alike. Please see map that marks the total extent of the damage - it is more than the uploaded pictures and this section of road requires more than patch repair.
Thank you for this report. We will review the details and carry out an inspection of the site if required.
