Flooding to footpath
Reported via desktop in the Flooding of a road or pavement category anonymously at 14:08, Wed 16 December 2020
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2434937.
Good afternoon, we have a tenant at a property on Cherry Tree Close, Radstock, BA3 3TZ, who has reported a problem with flooding to her footpath. I have been to take a look, and luckily there does not seem to be a risk of the water getting into the property, but it does just sit on the footpath to the property, with no-where for it to drain. The rain water appears to run down from a track, a little further up a public footpath, and I could not see an drains at all for the water to go into, so it runs down the footpath, onto the property and stays on the path outside the front door, making it very difficult for the occupant to leave the property. Just wondered if this could be looked into, and perhaps a drain put in somewhere for the water to go? Many Thanks
