Currently this area is being used to park multiple vans and cara which are left for the whole day. I suspect some of this is associated with the works at Hygge park as contractors vehicles are not allowed there. It sometimes makes it very difficult and dangerous to access Ellsbridge close. This stretch of the Bath Road is very narrow and while some of the vehicles are not parked illegally it makes to too narrow for many vehicles to pass. Large vehicles have to drive onto the grass and there is now a large trench and the kerbs are completely wrecked. New bollards were placed on the corner recently and these have already been smashed. Cars park too close to the corner making it impossible to swing in and out of Ellsbridge close. At school pick up time this area is gridlocked. Double yellow lines around tge entrance to Ellsbridge close are needed and I would suggest a solution for cars parking along the narrow stretches and in the pavements. I have attached a picture of the kerb and damaged ground that has been caused by vehicles that cannot pass.

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2435309.
This stretch of the bath road is being used for contractors vehicle s some of which in Hygge park and also car sharing meeting point (I watch the car sharers every day despite COVID restrictions). Cars and vans are left all day and the narrow road makes it impossible to pass for large vehicles and parking close to the corner of Ellsbridge close junction causes severe access problems. Parking restrictions are needed. The kerbs and green space are severely damaged as vehicles need to leave the road to pass. The newly installed bollards are already smashed. This area is used for school pick ups and drop offs and is gridlocked at those times. I suggest some parking restrictions are needed.
