Following recent roadworks the ,manhole was installed incorrectly sitting below the road level meaning that a large puddle cannot drain away.
Reported via desktop in the Manhole & drain cover damage category anonymously at 11:36, Wed 23 December 2020
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2444674.
As above the resulting puddle means that every time a car goes through the puddle water splashes onto our wall which you can clearly see the effect in the picture. I have reported this to the roads officer when he visited to sign off the new works but no work to rectify the issue has taken place. We will have to carry out some remedial work to stop long term damage ourselves and will have to hold B&NES partly responsible. We know there is long term flooding issues here but this is a new problem created by the contractors.

With the recent cold weather this puddle is now very icy and the spray from passing vehicles has made the pavement icy I slipped here and nearly fell into the road as a car was passing, Also vehicles carry the water along the road making a large area icy. The whole area is now very dangerous.
