Further to the problem already reported on 18th Dec there is now flooding further up Rag Hill which is causing flooding across the road. This mornings heavy rainfall has caused more blockages to drains. The main deep drain, 10 feet deep, needs to be cleared out and silt removed in order to unblock it so the rain can drain freely.

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2445174.
A resident has been clearing out the drains to try to relieve the flooding which has been experienced over many years but the main, deep drain (10 feet deep) which takes the run off is blocked with silt and needs clearing out to prevent flooding across the road and down through the village bringing stones, boulders and muddy silt which makes the road slippery and dangerous to road users.
