Bank has slipped down to block Back Lane
Reported via desktop in the Mud or debris on the road category anonymously at 11:44, Tue 29 December 2020
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2451596.
The bank has slipped following the heavy rain. Back Lane is now impassable for cars. This means vehicles coming down The Sidelings have to make a very dangerous right hand turn on to the A368
Thank you for your report, it will be reviewed by the appropriate team.

We are over a month on from reporting this and nothing has been done. Some large vehicles pushing through have opened the lane but the bank still partially obstructs it and brings down a lot of mud. In the last few days a further piece of bank has slipped to the west of the original and near the junction with The Sidelings. This is also passable but messy.

We are now over two months since this was reported and no action has been taken. The two points on Back Lane are, at the moment, passable but are still awkward and could damage a passing vehicle.
