I’ve just had to scrape ice off my car in the pitch black as your street lights are still out & have been for months. This is very dangerous and could give rise to someone being attacked. I’ve reported it twice already and lack of funds as the lights are all obsolete and need replacing next year is not good enough. Something, however temporary, needs to be put in place now. I didn’t pay £15 today to be parked in a pitch black car park on my return at 6.30pm.

We can confirm that the parts needed for the upgrade of the lighting in the car park are on order and are expected to arrive in January. We anticipate that our contractors will be able to start work near the end of the month after the parts have been received.
We are sorry for the delay and apologise for any inconvenience caused by the lack of lighting. Further comments can be added here in due course if any further updates are known.
