Unacceptable levels of dog fouling
Reported via mobile in the Dog fouling category anonymously at 12:32, Tue 12 January 2021
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2473745.
The children walk to school between Larkhall plce via Oriel Hall carpark and Brookleaze buildings everyday. I regularly need to walk from my house on larkhall place to the London road via either St Saviours Road or Upper Lambridge Street and there is always dog poop on the pavements. Every single day for the past few months and slowly the problem has got worse, I believe not helped by more people getting dogs during the pandemic. I wonder how well the dog fouling fines are policed as there seems to be no deterrent for people allowing their dogs to foul the street. It is disgusting and a health hazard to my and other small children
Updates
-
There is now only one dog warden in the B&NES area - until recently there were two.

Have also had a consistent problem with unacceptable excessive dog fouling nearby. As previously stated, there is only one dog warden in the BANES area, and signage does nothing to deter further instances.

This has been passed onto the dog warden, signs can be placed up. It has also be passed onto our enforcement team, to add this to their hot spotted areas. Unfortunately, without any details of the offender or information, no FPNs can be issued. Thank you for the report.
