Mud and excess debris from hedge trimming
Reported via desktop in the Excessive or dangerous littering category anonymously at 12:20, Wednesday
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 22 hours, 27 minutes later. Council ref: 2475649.
I reported this issue a few days ago and was told the problem had been resolved. There is still loads of debris on the road which makes me question if the road has been cleaned. As for the mud, I’m not sure what can be done as the farmers kindly keep that topped up daily! A lot of my immediate neighbours now drive down to Radstock and join the A367 there to try and avoid their cars looking as if they’ve just completed the Dakar rally. Perhaps more regular visits by a road cleaner could be arranged and feel free to invoice the farmers for this service ?

This report has been referred to our Cleansing team to look into sending a road cleaner out again. Although it is worth noting the mud and debris is to the edge of the carriageway as the photos show, if driving to the road conditions it is out of the wheel track hence why it is still there - this is a common feature of country lanes with farming in the vicinity.
