Blocked drains at the junctions of Temple Street, Albert Road and Dapps Hill
Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain: Blockage inside drain category by Robert Drower at 16:57, Thu 14 January 2021
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2478708.
All the water that should be taken by these three drains is running down Dapps Hill. There is another blockage at the top of the gulley that exits from an underground channel at the top of the high wall. There is also a blocked double drain at the bottom of the wall. Rainwater has failed to drain away this area for years and has resulted in flooding of the cottages at the bottom of the hill in the past. I reported this very same problem on 1st August 2012 and again on 30th December 2013. This situation has never been rectified, so there is obviously a serious problem with the drainage.
