20 mph signs needed

Reported via mobile in the Road sign damage category anonymously at 12:51, Friday 15 January 2021

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2480023.

Norton Lane is to be closed on 25th and 30th in opposite directions. All traffic will divert down Gibbet Lane which has few passing places and one blind bend. Can you arrange for 20mph temporary signs for the duration. Also worried our cats may get run over if people speed. Currently it is delimited.

  • Since the closure of Norton Lane is in the past, the issue is resolved, however no speed restriction was placed on Gibbet lane at the time, and we had a week of excessive traffic, over 300 vehicles a day, and now there are numerous potholes.
